Your student brought home their spelling test from today - please make sure to look it over with them! :)

Math

This week we continued our unit on addition and subtraction related facts (fact families). Next week, we will practice what we have learned throughout the past few weeks during our math centers. We will continue taking our timed math tests. Please practice with your student at home.

Cold Weather

Please remember that recess will be outside if the wind chill is 20 degrees or warmer. Students will not be allowed to stay inside for recess unless they have a note from your family doctor.

Class Book

Thank you to all the parents for signing and return the order forms for your student class book. Even if you didn't purchase them it was still a requirement to get all signatures! I will let everyone know when the books come in. It was a great learning process and the students really enjoyed writing and illustrating.

• Friday, December 19th - Classroom Holiday Parties from 2:00-3:00pm
• Monday, December 22nd - Sunday, January 4th - Winter Break - No School
• Monday, January 5th - Classes Resume

Reminders/Announcements

• Box Tops/Labels for Education - Please continue to turn in any box tops/labels that you have at home. This is a wonderful fundraiser that helps raise money for our school. Feel free to ask aunts, uncles, grandmas, grandpas, and neighbors! :) 
• Sight Words - Students brought home 6 sight words last week. They are the words that they need to know for the week. Next week there are 6 new words. Please continue to work with your student at home.
• Please send a note if your child will be picked up or taking another bus home.
