Math
This week we introduced related facts/fact families. Related facts contain the same three numbers. There are two addition and 2 subtraction problems. An example is: I have (1,4,5) two addition problems would be 1+4=5 & 4+1=5. The two subtraction problems would be 5-1=4 & 5-4=1. By using and identifying related facts, students refine their mathematical thinking. Next week, we will continue to work on related facts as well as using addition to check subtraction and finding the missing number.

Halloween Party
Our Halloween party was a huge success! It was so nice to see some of you there taking pictures! The students really enjoyed the parade and showing everyone their costumes! I would like to say a big thank you to Mrs. Harvat and Mrs. Kobylarczyk for bringing in such fun activities and games! Thank you to all the parents who made treats and brought in supplies! :)
