Math
We had our Unit 2 math test on Thursday. Your student will be bringing it home today. Please make sure to go over it with them and check any mistakes that they may have made. Next week, we will spend time on different graphs. We will talk about picture graphs, bar graphs and tally charts. In a few weeks we will begin practicing our numbers to 1,000. We will start creating a number scroll. If you could try and save any paper towel rings that would be great! We will use them to tape the number scrolls and to keep it more organized. Thank you!
Conferences
Conferences are Monday, March 10th and Tuesday, March 11th. If you have any questions please let me know!

Reminders/Announcements
- Box Tops - Please continue to turn in any box tops that you have at home. This is a wonderful fundraiser that helps raise money for our school. Feel free to ask aunts, uncles, grandmas, grandpas, and neighbors! :) Classrooms with the most box tops will win a classroom party!
- Please send a note if your child will be picked up or taking another bus home.
- If you have any questions - please feel free to email me at alibeseth@ccsd66.org
- Please continue to practice sight words at home. Making flash cards is a great idea and allows for fun games, like memory!
- It's that time of year! Please make sure you are sending your student to school with a hat, gloves, and scarves! If the temperature is above 30 degrees, the kids will go outside for recess and I would hate for them to freeze. :)
I Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Miss Beseth
