Report Cards
Report cards went home today for the second trimester. If you have any questions please feel free to email me and we can discuss further. Thank you!

Math
This week students wrapped up our unit on double digit addition and subtraction. We will continue to work on math facts during math centers. Our next unit is on measurement. Students will focus on comparing the lengths of three objects, as well as using different units to estimate and measure objects. Please continue to practice their fast facts! :)

Twitter
First Grade has joined Twitter! If you have an account and would like to follow us, our name is @idefirstgrade1. We will be using twitter to post pictures of activities that the students complete in the classroom as well as work. This is a great way to stay connected at home and see what your students are accomplishing!

Scholastic Books!
I have created a link on my blog to Scholastic book orders! If you are interested in ordering any books for friends, relatives, or for your student, feel free to place an order online and use the code - LVB2T. When you order online, you can shop all Book Club flyers, enter your online orders, and pay with a credit or debit card. Every time you place your order online, you earn a FREE Book Pick and I earn a $3 coupon for our classroom! I will be receiving flyers that I will send home within the next few weeks if you don't want to do it online. If you have any questions please let me know!

Now one can not survive without using i,pads, laptops etc. Because the concepts are practical now. It can not be fulfill without using electronic devices. As it keeps student life more busy.
