Math
This past week, we focused on measurement. Students learned how to order three objects by length and also how to compare the length of two objects by using a third object. We will continue to measure different objects with paper clips, cubes and other things in the classroom. We expect the students to understand that when measuring length of an object, there can be no gaps or overlaps. We will have our measurement unit test on Wednesday, April 16th.
Chick Unit
This past week we learned all about eggs! We discussed the seven different parts of an egg and then got to crack them open and label the different parts. We also started an experiment today. We placed an eggs in four different liquids: water, salt water, vinegar, and apple juice. We are going to watch and observe them over the next few weeks and see if our predictions were right!
